Barefoot Contessa is a cooking show on Food Network.  Each episode features host Ina Garten preparing a delicious meal for her friends or husband in her mansion home in East Hampton.  The show is named after Garten’s best-selling cookbook, which was in turn named after Garten’s specialty food store (no longer open).  The name “Barefoot Contessa” originally came from the title of a 1954 film.
