If I could buy one thing right now, I think it would be a plane ticket around the world. I've always believed that if you've got money to burn (or if you don't, for that matter), the best way to spend it is by traveling. One trip to a new place allows you to see new cities, try new foods, experience new cultures, and learn new languages. View the Pacific as the Maoris do from Cape Reinga at the northern tip of New Zealand, eat goat kabobs with the locals in Uganda, and learn the subtleties of Philippine niceties: it's all possible. There's nothing like traveling to another part of the world and getting a glimpse of a life that's not your own to broaden your horizons and put things in perspective. The major dilemma: where to go? Italy, Vietnam, or Iceland? Barcelona, Cape Town, or Hong Kong? The possibilities are endless. And when you've only got two weeks of vacation a year, your time (and money) are precious. Some people, however, manage to figure out a way to travel all the time, all around the world. Why not get some tips from these expert travelers? Check our my list of ten excellent blogs from people who (lucky for them) are trekking around the globe, and who (lucky for us) are recording their adventures for us to read. Hear their stories, learn from their experiences, and travel vicariously if you can't do it in person. And if you're feeling inspired, you can start planning your round-the-world tripRelated Top 10 Sources: Travel | Canada | Shanghai London | France
