Visit the engineering marvel that is the George Washington bridge, peruse an excellent collection of medieval art at The Cloisters, or check out the history of upper Manhattan at the Morris-Jumel Mansion or the Dyckman Farmhouse. If you're more the outdoor type, spend some time in one of the areas many parks, including Fort Tryon Park or Fort Washington Park.
